If you would like to learn the fascinating technique of free motion machine embroidery and would like to be able to create your own piece of art, I can show you how! I hold one-on-one workshops where you will learn how to bring your favourite images to life!
ONE-TO-ONE WORKSHOP
Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays (on selected dates)

Please bring your own sewing machine. One will be available if you do not/cannot bring your own but it is always best if you do bring your own as you will be able to get used to learning a new technique on your own machine.
What will I learn? You will learn the art of appliqué and how to prepare your fabric for machine stitching, how to use stabilisers and how to 'draw' using your sewing machine, creating an art piece you'll be proud of!
Bring your own lunch, but bottomless tea and coffee cups will be provided, along with homemade cakes and biscuits! You will be able to take home a starter pack with all the materials you will need (including a step-by-step guide for later reference) to make your very first image, so you will be able to get started on your new artwork straight away!
A one-to-one day's tutorial including all of the above is £120. If you would like to attend a group workshop (no more than 6 people attending) please see 'group workshops' tab under 'Workshops' menu for more information. A £35 booking deposit will secure a lesson (final payment to be made on/just before the tutorial). A refund will be given if notification of cancellation is made 3 days prior to date of workshop or an alternative date can be arranged.
