Here you will find a collection of artwork I have been passionately creating using machine stitching since 2016. My unique technique involves free motion machine embroidery, which allows me to use the machine needle as a pencil, adding paints afterward to provide a splash of colour and shading.
I draw inspiration from everyday scenes, coastal views, and seasonal themes, striving to capture them vividly in thread. My particular focus is on coastal landscapes and the intricate fine details I interpret through machine stitching. I often incorporate the technique of appliqué into my pieces, carefully selecting fabric textures and ensuring all tonal colours blend harmoniously.
